I have a problem I've run into with something I original wrote for Win2k, etc that monitors the connection speed using SNMP (SnmpExtensionQuery). On all of the previous versions of Windows, you could query it once a second and get new data - but now if you run the same application on Vista, it only updates once every 10 seconds. Is there some way (via registry or where-ever) to change this to be back to 1 second resolution? It doesn't matter if it requires a reboot or is system wide. I tried switching to performance counters (PdhGetFormattedCounterValue), which has the resolution I'm after, but has just been a nightmare to get working - so I really would like to get SNMP going if at all possible. Thanks!
