My Run button is grayed out. This includes starting a new project of any type. I completely un-installed VS 2008 and Re-Installed it. The Run is Still grayed out. VB is now worthless.

Check if your project has a starting point.
Go to your project properties, under the "Application" tab, see if "Startup form" is set correctly.

Thank you for replying. I had read that possible answer several days ago after googling this problem. No Run button even when creating a new windows app. Since my Re-Install, It will not longer even create a new windows app correctly. I'm on the verge of formatting my hard drive and re-installing everything. I just really can't afford to loose a full week to get back to operational.

This really ought to be a comment, not an answer.

I recommend that you take this problem to MS Support or the MSDN forums.
