Hi Guys, are there any good free native UML modelling tools for OS/X that allow you to quickly whip up simple UML diagrams.
I know about ArgoUML, great for a java app (its usable), but certainly painful to use under OS/X wit the number of bugs and issues it has.

At our company we've spent a lot of time assessing different modeling tools. Our requirements was that it should be multi-platform, open source, easy to use and actively developed. Our conclusion was that NetBeans is the only reasonable option satisfying all those conditions.
You could use Visual Paradigm for UML Community Edition.
It primarily written in Java and therefore available for lots of different platforms...
True, it's not really integrated with Mac OSx when it comes to look and feel, or any other OS for that matter, but it works really well and does what it's supposed todo, and much more...
VP-UML provides lots of functionality and is easy to use. It can wholeheartedly recommend it...
The community edition is free for non-commercial use.
I use Dia. It runs under X11. It is adequate (and free).
On Windows I like PaceStar UML Diagrammer (not free). I haven't found anything comparable on the Mac that is as inexpensive and easy to use as PaceStar.
I've use http://www.umlet.com/ because it is the simplest thing I could have ever use.
Unfortunately if you need it for something more advanced you should consider using other tool.
