My local newspaper's website recently rolled out a "DataMine" section of their website that has lots of great information I want to tap in to, but the results of a search are not too friendly to an inexperienced programmer myself.

Does anyone out there have any experience with Caspio? Do you know if there are APIs I can hit? Does anyone have suggestions on how I can "spreadsheetize" the data so I know how to work with it? Perhaps a text browser with a robust str-ripper would work.

I already tried asking at the newspaper, but apparently nobody in the Green Bay office knows what I'm talking about and Gannett didn't respond to my e-mails either.
