SQL Server 2008 SSMS won't remember password

SQL Server 2008 doesn't remember password inspite of checking the "Remember Password" checkbox.

I was suspecting a reboot would solve the problem. But, the issue persists.

Environment: Windows Vista Ultimate, SQL Server 2008

I have been hesitant to post this, as it seems so trivial and weird.

Does this bug report match what you're seeing?

@Steve: The bug report refers to the issue in SQL 2005. It doesn't seem to state SQL 2008 as one of the affected products.

@pencilslate: The bug report was filed before 2008 existed, but the comments and their dates suggest it may still be a problem in 2008. I know that doesn't help you solve the problem, but you might vote on and add a validation to the bug report if you think this is the same problem.

If it's any consolation, I get this too. SSMS 2008 remembers some passwords and not others. It also happened to a friend of mine (I found it amusing at the time) now it's happening to me it's not so funny ;)
