Hi,

I have an interview for Software Engineering in QA Position role and wanted some pointer's from preparation point of view and also job description include technologies like XML, XSD, WSDL, and SOAP technologies and so what all topics should I put more stress during preparation process.

I would really appreciate if someone can provide some pointer's for same.

Thanks.

It depends on what the position is for, really. Where I work we develop web apps but never ask any questions based on those topics. I'd call the company and ask them about the technologies they use.

XML - What is it? What are good applications of XML? What are limitations of XML?

XSD - What is it? What is it used for? How does it compare to DTD?

WSDL - What can you do with it? Why is it useful? What information can you find in a WSDL?

SOAP - What is it? What are the parts of a SOAP envelope. How can you change a SOAP envelope to implement/break different standards.

...quick list, but it's something to think about. I'm sure somebody out there can ellaborate.

This is the guy who was supposed to be interviewing you. Please be assured that I'll tailor my questions to things NOT mentioned in this thread.
