Creating SQL Server Management Studio 2005 Plugins

Question

I've read that plug-ins aren't support for SQL Server Management Studio 2005. But it can be done though. Anyone have any ideas how to do thist?

here's a list of a lot of free tools for sql server. at the top you have the section that holds stuff about add-ins from SSMS: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/mladenp/archive/2007/11/20/Free-SQL-Server-tools-that-might-make-your-life-a.aspx

you might want to check out http://www.ssmstoolspack.com/

which is an add-in i make. it's free but not open sourced.
