I need to generate a list of people's name randomly.

Where can I find lists of names? I need a list of first names, a list of middle names and a list of surnames.

--EDIT--
Just want to make it clear, these names are only English names.

From the Census Bureau.

I used these lists and the frequency numbers to generate a random list of names. Only strange thing was getting mixed origins. Like Spanish first names paired with Chinese last names, but they were definitely random!

Mixed origins are quite common in the US today -- and actually, yesterday, for Halloween, we got an "Addams Family" marathon on TV and were reminded that Gomez Addams has been around for quite a while!-)

I'd start searching for baby names. There's bound to be a nice list.

Names from what country? If someone supplied or cited a list of typical American names, they'd do you little good in India or China. The reverse is equally true.

I'm surprised someone voted up a "Let me Google that for you" answer.

Really? I think it emphasizes the point that this question could have used some additional research and effort. With search engines and the Internet available, is it unreasonable to expect that someone would cite the sources they've found to date and explain why they're unsuitable? It shows a complete lack of motivation and imagination.

Use the Fake Name Generator and order in bulk. You can choose from over a dozen countries, limit by gender, and export to a wide variety of formats (CSVs, Excel, HTML, SQL for many DBMSs, even pipe-delimited files). I've used their free service for more than just names before, and have populated realistic "people" databases with tens of thousands of records.
