Situation: I have a site-collection A with a document of content type X and a calculated field Z, with let's say name and date concatenated. In this site-collection A the column Z shows up nice.

I also have another site-collection as record centre. I have made a document library for content type X and a record in the routing table to send all documents of type X to that library. I also defined a column with the same name as the calculated field Z.

When I send a document of type X from site-collectin A to the record centre, it comes in the right library, but the calculated field is empty! I would expect I would see the value of the calculated field, but that ain't true. One option (have not tried) is to define content type in record centre also, define the content type as default content type of library, so the value is calculated again. Another option is to write custom code to fill in the value when routed.

My hope is I am doing something wrong. Googling on "calculated field moss 2007 record centre" etc. doesn't give me any answer. That's why I ask it here. Thanks in advance.
