I have Win2k8 Enterprise SP2 x86, which I was using in a Virtual Pc Machine. I used the vmc-hyper v tool to bring it into Hyper V. But now every time I try and install the intergration services, it says theres a previous version install, and I need to upgrade\repair, even though there is nothing in add remove programs about this existing install. I do this and the installation finished, but when I check add remove programs Installation Services is not there. I check the hard drive for any reference to hyper v and found none. I have done the same process using Win2k3 and everything has worked fine.
Dont suppose anyones got any ideas on this one, Im facing having to rebuild the machine, which is going to take sometime
