What's the problem with the grids that ship with .Net? Both are pretty extensible. What are you looking for that you don't already have?

Also we're talking completely separate projects for ASP.Net, Windows Forms and WPF, which are you working with?

When you say free more detail would be useful too - what kind of free? Is GPL ok? Or do you need it for a commercial project?
