GAC_MSIL folder takes so long to open

I ran disk defragmenter and disk cleaner and over all my machine is fast enough to do everything. Whenever I try to open “C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_MSIL” folder, my computer get freeze, performance of CPU Usage reach to 100% and it takes almost 5 minutes to open the folder. Anyone had the same problem? Or anyone has any recommendation?
