vmware vim-cmd - segmentation fault

Hello,

I am trying to manage a virtual machine running on Vmware ESXI using the VIM-CMD command and I am having problems with some operations.

I can power on a specific server using the command 'VIM-CMD /VMSVC/POWER.ON 688' but cannot power off that server (command used:VIM-CMD /VMSVC/POWER.OFF 688) for example. In that case, I have a 'Segmentation fault' error.

I also tried the command 'VIM-CMD /VMSVC/GET.SUMMARY 688 with the same result BUT this command work with another vm that I have.

The vm is running Red Hat Linux.

Any ideas why I get that 'Segmentation Fault' error?
