For my open-source Android application, here is the list of all open source tools I use:
- Ant
- JUnit
- Eclipse
- Gimp
- SQLite Database Browser
- Command prompt tools such as: sqlite3 grep sed

MOTODEV Studio - It is almost the same as Eclipse with ADT Plugin, but there are couple of enhancments and cool usefull features.

Like, the ability to crash while you're in the middle of working on something and user support that consists of "must be you, it works for me"!
