Anyhow have any good book recommendations on TFS 2010?

I'd personally recommend "Professional Application Lifecycle Management with Visual Studio 2010" - but then again I am biased as I was responsible for the TFS chapters of that book :-)

It has been selling very well and has excellent reviews though so don't just take my word for it. Also you can get some free chapters over on the Wrox site if you want to take have a look at the sort of stuff in the book before you buy.

Let me know what you think.

Hi Martin, actually I already have that book. However, TFS is a pretty darn large application and I was hoping to find a book that had far more detail in terms of customization, modifying workflow, etc. That being said, great job:-)

Thanks! So, is it Team Foundation Build in 2010 that you are particularly interested in or the work item tracking customization? (Just interested in what is needed :-) )

I think work item tracking is the bigger area of need for me. How to create/use global lists, customize the form, change the work flow, etc. I know the basics and have done some customization using the power toys but I'd really love to get some real indepth tutorial on the whole thing. Of course, the same holds true for team build! How can I change the url on notifications? How can I properly expose TFS to the internet (as my TFS box is not on my network)?

I just read the list mentioned in Amazon. it's really interesting. Can I buy ebook version? I dont want to pay tax and shipping charges and I'm not staying in US..

@Michael - there is an PDF version coming soon (available from the Wrox site linked above among others). However the book will hopefully be available closer to your location soon in physical form as well.
