I'm trying to find a good Church Management System (ChMS). Essentially, a CRM for churches. My budget is about $0...so open source or in-house development is preferred (and by in-house, I mean me). I'm wondering if anyone could make some recommendations as to possibilities? I'm open to SaaS solutions as well. For those interested in more details...:
- I've looked at Zoho CRM and while I like it, they only offer three licenses free, an insignificant discount for non-profits, etc.
- I've looked at Salesforce's NPSF which is nice but almost too much for a small church. Additionally, its taking a long time to jump through all the hoops necessary to get the licenses.
- I'm wondering if some combination of Wufoo and similar SaaS apps. might offer what I'm looking for?
- I've looked at Google spradsheets...if only they had a db application. :P
Its really pretty simple what I need...something to maintain contact info., to remember important dates, to keep dates, to schedule followups, etc.
