I was wondering if some of you could share their experiences with SAP PI regarding the admin/basis team size.
How many people were involved in the differents teams? (Dev, admin, basis, etc) I know the size of the Dev team will be impacted by the size of the project/number of interfaces, but I would like to have a general idea.
we only have one basis person thats assigned for the PI landscape (3 system landscape). However there are currently 3 developers struggeling with the webservice configuration :) Setting up the PI isnt such a big deal, the actual implementation is.
SAP PI is just another component of the Netweaver landscape, so the number of staff will not be dependant on it.
Having said that, we have 6 developers, 2 of which are trained in PI. Of 3 BASIS staff, 1 is trained in PI. The other developers and BASIS staff are getting experience of it through knowledge sharing.
