Make a case: version control, defect management and sprint backlog systems must talk to each other

I would like to make a good case to our team that our existing disparate systems need to talk to each other if we wish to be productive. Any pointers?

We have

svn
JIRA + GrassHopper (only being used as Agile dashboard)
TeamTrack

The list can change, because we want to stop paying for JIRA and TeamTrack.

What you describe is effectively what Team Foundation Server gives you. Not sure if your toolset would be a match, though. I've also not been really pleased with the Source Control and Agile support OTB in TFS (though, I've not used TFS 2010, just 2008).
