Hi, I have this small doubt which is not getting cleared as I m going through different articles around. I am using stateserver in webfarm environment with .NET 4.0

Problem:

1) What gets serialized? object references or both. If only object reference is serialized(as I have understood so far from How does (de)serialization work in SqlServer and State Server mode? ), how does actual object get shared between different machines on a farm? Is there some .NET black magic there?

2) Say I have a Dictionary<Customer> which is in my session. Is it more efficient to store all those customers as individual entries in the Session or it doesnt matter? Does ASP.NET deserializes actual objects from the session only when accessed?
