and keep with smashing magazine: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/08/04/designing-a-html-5-layout-from-scratch/ - there are tonns of good html5 css3 resources on this site

HTML5 and CSS3 are NOT the same thing. Too many people are lumping them together under the "HTML5" headline. That Smashing Magazone article more or less does the same thing.I wrote about this on the PCPro website: http://www.pcpro.co.uk/blogs/2010/06/22/the-confusion-surrounding-html5/(I'm not saying you are, but what you said could be slightly misleading)

You are right! But everybody use it together, to try combine these new features. The final product is the combination of these stuff. So "too many people" have right too. I wanted to help to bring out the max from html5. To lean those life taste (not perfect, separate, etc.) techniques, what is the way to final, "now" usable products. And I sad that smashing magazine have good resources to do this. Anyway great article, but I think the developers don't have to judge Apple, Microsoft, etc. , they have to make products, for their platforms...

I knowm but it's just one of those things that bugs me. We all have them, and this is my current one :-)

I've read Dive into HTML 5, it's great.

The other is html5.org, it gathers some useful external links. So, you just can sift through the W3C HTML 5 specification or take a look at HTML5 and HTML 4 differences (by W3C).

Have fun!
