Looking to upload my freeware software for distribution....

I know about tucows and download.com and download32.com.

I seek a good place to put this software for users.

I don't have a dedicated web site for it now.

Where is the best place to start?

Freeware ≠ open source. The OP may want to let everyone use the program, but that doesn't mean he wants to let everyone see the code.
