Good free antivirus software for Windows 2003 / 2008

Question

I'm running windows 2003 as a workstation and I was wondering if there are any good free anti virus programs for it.

I liked AVG free but that doesn't work on 2003. So are there any alternatives and if so, which ones have you tried and like best?

EDIT: Just to be clear it needs to be free and not a trial, else the best option for me is going without AV.

Avast! has always been my personal favourite. The home edition is free, but I dont know if it will be substantial enough for your server needs. Looks like the server version works for 60days without a key though, so you could try them both out, see if you like it.

  The highest voted answer to this questions was "none" and to use your "own judgment to avoid running dangerous applications". (I'm assuming this would work on windows 2003 ;)
