Hi there,

When reading the FP10 SoundTransform documentation (http://www.adobe.com/livedocs/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/flash/media/SoundTransform.html) one would believe that the volume value cannot rise above 1. Or, if it can, this should have no effect. That's what the documentation says.

However, it does appear to be possible to set the volume to a value higher than 1. When I set it to 5 my sound is much higher than if I set it to 1 (which is supposed to be maximum volume).

Is this a bug or undocumented feature or is the documentation simply wrong? How do I know if I can use this value above 1 in a safely supported way (independent from sound card, operating system, etc.)?

Regards, Tom
