Hello, Im the SharePoint Administrator at my company.
When i try to go to someones site to delete it. using this path> Central Administration site > SharedServices1 Home page > User Profiles and Properties > View user profiles.
I then select the userid that has the site i wish to delete. Then try to manage Personal site.
I then get an Access Denied.
I have went to the following areas to be sure I have the correct permissions to access this area as follows.
Company Top Site Portal > Site Actions > Modify All Site Settings > Users and permissions > Site Collection Administrators. ( My Sharepoint account is there, Im in there, My Domain Accounts for who ever else is in there also. )
Still get the same Access Denied when trying to edit a mysite.
I went to: Central Administration > Application Mangagement > Application Security >User Permissions for Web application and All Items have been selected.
I went to: Central Administration > SharedServices1 > Personalization Services permissions I have SP Domain Account , NT Authority\Authenticated Users, NT Authority\Network, my Admiins Group domain account. i still get the Access Denied error again.
I will need to also at some time after fixing this issue try to do a restore. I have a feeling i will also run into this issue too.
