I am really confused between which certification to take up? Both of them are good for DBA. I have started working with Oracle and have no knowledge of both the databases.

It looks like the place you are working already has Oracle as you mentioned you started working on it. So, an Oracle certification would make more sense. By the time you will need to use the certification somewhere, you'll have both the certifiation and the work experience to back it up.
Just having a certification (n DB2 in this case) without any work experience would hardly be a benefit in an place, in my humble opinion.

I'd agree. It's not really worth studying certification if your job doesn't involve practical use of the systems shortly afterwards.
