Mobile application based on bluetooth and wifi technology

I need help as I want to develop an application which based on bluetooth and wifi technologies, but I am run out of ideas. I was thinking about an application needs to share data between people something like a small social mobile network, so any ideas!!

How about an aggregation of book data for each user of the application. The user can then specify books they have read and begin to keep a running tally. As the user comes into proximity of someone who has read a certain percentage of similar books based on genre, etc...the application will notify the user that someone nearby has similar taste. It can then notify each user that a potential friend is nearby and coordinates to meet up at in X amount of time. You can then use GPS to head to the location nearby and begin a newly created friendship.
