I need to create a simple purchase ordering system that I can later expand upon. I want to leverage my knowledge of Microsoft technologies, C#, SQL Server, etc.
The first deployment will be used for 1 customer in a niche industry. We will be facilitating procurement throughout Asia for the client.
We will need to input products from multiple manufacturers.
What we need to do is just get the purchase order from the client, then we will take care of the rest manually. So all we need to do is get the order. No more.
Later on I would like to be able to tie into manufacturers' systems.
We do not need to hook into any ecommerce systems as we'll be doing LOCs that are well beyond the scope of a payment processor.
This is stupidly simple. I just want to get it started for now.
What platform would let me do it easiest and fastest?
