Certifications for developing bank apps

We've got a project at work coming up that, if we take it, would be developing an iPhone App for a bank. It's pretty standard, it'd be like any other one you've ever seen.

My questions is, do any of you have any experience developing software for banks, and if so, are there any certifications that you need to have (like HIPAA for healthcare)?

No qualifications but they often want some business knowledge

No qualifications for you, but depending on quite what it is your application does you will be expected to achieve PCI compliance or similar.
