Anyone knows a blogging theme (like for Wordpress) that isn't super narrow and full of panels.

I am looking for a blog that has the most space for post and easier on the eyes (probably light grey or white-ish).

I checked out several themes but couldn't find one that's not too flashy.

I use Shocking Blue Green on Wordpress.com, you can view it on my blog at www.marisic.net

I use it for the expandable content column to make it easier to display code that contains long lines.

I like this one called Grid Focus

Thanks, this is also what I mean. Half the page width is filled with other panels.

Hi Joan!

I use a modified theme on my blog in Blogger. Blogger allows me to alter whatever existing themes there are by using a stylesheet.

Hey David, glad to see you here! I was actually split between here and MSDN because you were answering there, which is always the best answers I get :)

unless you're only going to post code, your theme doesn't need to be programming specific -- i would rather encourage you to focus on styling the actual code sections of your blog (suitable fixed-width font, syntax highlighting, line numbers for referencing, etc.).

my blog uses a customized blogger template and this free SyntaxHighlighter to style the code snippets (example post).
