Aside from asking specific questions here. Do you know of any good books or online resources for learing c++ builder (9)?

I find the built-in help system extremely clumsy and awkward to use. I am unable to find books on the subject on amazon. Most of the web throws delphi at me when I do searches for specific questions.

Conversly - I find the web absolutely perfect for PHP/ASP help. I haven't had to use stackoverflow for any php/asp/sql help at all (that I can remember) because the web is chock-full of help on almost any possible question you can ask.

I wish it was like that for coding VCL apps with borland/codegear c++ builder (9). My progress is much much slower and less fruitful. I learned to use it at University where we used version 3 or 4. this is going back eleven years so my brain has all fused up since then with regards to oop/c++/visual application development/vcl

There are a number of screencasts here. If you don't like the Microsoft help viewer, you can get the 2007 help files in other formats here.

I'm going round in circles trying to get logged in to see those files. I've given up on that. Any resources that don't require a silly login system to see them?
