The question is as its title. I'm looking for a replacement for Mercury TestDirector. Now, TD is a bug tracking tool, but it's more than that - it allows for test script storage and execution, and for the execution reports to link to bugs.

In order to be considered, the replacement must provide this bare minimum functionality - bug tracking and test script execution integration. It would be nice if it linked to subversion and had the ability to link related bugs as well. Furthermore, it would be nice if it had a bug importing feature such that bugs in TD could be exported to (say, excel?) and imported into the new solution.

The politics: I work in an organization that uses TestDirector, and it's become unbearable. TD is alright (not great, but useable) on its own, but the real problem is that the organization only has 60 licenses for 400+ people at this site. So, they've made the timeout 10 minutes to compensate, but with this many people, we often find ourselves unable to log into the app because we don't have enough licenses. As TD has reached EOL, it is not possible to obtain more licenses for this product easily or cost-effectively, so a free replacement is the best way to mitigate this problem.

A quick google search brought me to a wiki page for various bug tracking software. It doesn't appear that any free bug tracking programs provide Test planning integration. But maybe one of the open source ones can be tweaked accordingly.
