Looking for dbms coursework theme

Hi!

Can anyone give a 'practical' task for my coursework? I am completly run out of ideas. Everything seems to be done before me.

To be honest i am a beginner in that field and have little expireince.

I d'like to do something little but useful for somebody. Ideally, it should be one with help of which i can learn more about one of widespread modern dbms.

(and in the end I should be able to get it in some kind of complete state in reasonable amount of time)

How about storing/managing links - IE is rubbish at this, Firefox allows them to be stored centrally, but it's not easy to share, vote or categorise the links. With coursework it's always better to do a simple task really well, rather than part delivering something complex.
