our Sharepoint (MOSS) Dev box (Win 2003 R2) was churninga long happily, not on the network. When one of colleauges allowed it to join the network things went. SSP, and search notably.
I reinstalled both Sharepoint and SQL Server, and got them working again. The problem is the IIS, I cannot get anonymous accesss to work at all, just recieveing 401.3 errors.
The IUSR_machinename account had no rights over the inetpub virtual directories, nor over system32. This has been rectified (I set them to read and write), but I still cannot get anon acess to work.
This is true for both Sharepoint, and standard ASP .net sites. Any ideas would be great. thanks.
