Hi Guys, after attending a mind numbing three days workshop on MLG, what i noticed is that 90% of the time is wasted on just configuring the setup for each components for MLG, namely the sharepoint, isa, exhchange, active directory etc.
as a developer and a big fan of automation, i see all this tedious task as brain cell destroying activities. thus i would like to find a way if i can automate some if not all of the process using scripting, preferably perl, or anything else.
i know that most microsoft components tend to keep their configuration in xml files these days, but i'm not bright enough to know where and how all these stuff is connected yet :)
so if anyone can help me out by pointing me to any relevant resources, that would be really great. as far as i know there's one company out there itwrox education catalyst who does seems to have some tools for this, but i would like to see how complicated it is to built one of my own as i would have more leeway in customizing it myself and justifying for not paying much attention during the workshop to my boss :P
