Google App Engine registering a new application

I wanted to try GAE and I did it using a fake google account: a second account I usually use for testing web services.

The registration of an application works using a registration code sent me by SMS. That's ok.

I really like the platform and I decide to register a new application on my official google account (which is another, of course).

I realize that it's impossible for me to complete this task because google doesn't accept my mobile phone number: it seems to be already used.

Yes, of course. I know it's already used, and so? How can I go on? I didn't know google kept my mobile number stored forever... Why? And what is an elegant solution to this problem? I simply don't want to use my girlfriend mobile number.

I think this is a very unconfortable problem and it seems there is no solution as far as I searched on google.com, and it's strange that even if I'm not the only one with this problem there is not an official answer by the GAE team.

If you have trouble using the SMS verification, you can contact them by using the SMS issues form and state your case.

However, they clearly say that

You may only sign up for one Google App Engine account per mobile phone number.

You can still create the applications with your "fake" account and invite your real account as a developer/admin, I think. The SMS is only needed for creating applications, not for accepting invites.

Am I wrong or the problem ins't one mobile per account but one mobile per application? WTF I would need confirm my mobile for each application?
