I've found a problem with Firefox where links from HTTP to HTTPS don't work in a specific case. It has to be your very first visit on a site, you can't have any visits to this site in your history. What happens is that links to HTTPS just don't work initially, you have to click the same link 3 or 4 times and it will work.

To reproduce this

  • Go to www.amazon.co.uk
  • Clear you history (CTRL+SHIFT+DEL). You can also just create a new profile in FireFox instead if you want to keep you history.
  • Now click on "Your account" in the top right.
  • If the link works after the first click, start with step one again. It sometimes doesn't happen but it should if you try 2 or 3 times.

Please let me know if you can reproduce this, and even better if you know how to fix this!

i didn't reproduce this at all! it just went fine, as it should. You must have something wrong with your FF browser options. Anyway i don't think it's an important issue.

I'm using a completely clean FF profile. I've reproduced it on 4 computers...
