Hi all..

When I found Hilight I almost fell down my chair. It's exactly what I need :)

Now, the sad thing is that the demo doesn't seem to work in IE8. Are there any fixes or alternatives out there?

Thanks a lot :)

You are welcome. Could you test it in IE6/7 and let me know if it works? If it does, I will probably submit the patch to the plugin author.

Will do, prolly later today ..

Seems to be working very well, except that you don't get that "fading" effect on any of the IEs (6,7,8) that you do in FF. Thanks for the fix :)

Great! I will submit the patch to the author.

This works great for me except I noticed the same thing as Meeh with the fading not working but that's an acceptable sacrifice for having the map work. Thanks for your fix Solution Yogi!

This is a very useful fix to what is a great plugin which works fine in IE6 and 7 with this code... thanks... whilst I'm here has anyone managed to use this plugin to show a current state.. I know you can turn all highlights on with the "alwaysOn: true" feature but I just want one area highlighted... anyone done this?
