So far my Gooling and searching around here haven't come up with anything of the sort. There are translation tools aplenty - we even have a license for Alchemy Catalyst 5.0.
But what I want is a tool that will take an .rc file and grow all of the dialogs by a certain percentage - say 20%. That way the English will be a little more spaced out, giving more room to labels and such, which in turn should reduce the current excruciating effort of resizing various controls every time we translate/localize a new version of our software. (i.e. our translators currently translate just the text, and we have a technician here who integrates the new text using Catalyst, but then has to resolve all of the clipped text issues on the many, many dialogs we use).
Its stupid to have to redo that effort every time a new version of our product comes out for every language we support. So, again, having a tool to grow our dialogs outright, initially, would probably not entirely resolve the issue, but would likely minimize it giving far less clipped text occurrences.
Currently I'm doing this by hand, but there are a lot of them.... sigh.
Anyone know of such a tool?
