Can't find when QT 4.6 will be available (not even on Trolltech's site). Any ideas?

EDIT: I don't understand the down votes, especially since I've received an answer with 6 up votes. If you're voting a question down, it would be nice to add a comment explaining why.

Trolltech doesn't publish or provide a release schedule for Qt releases. They release as they're ready - If you look at Wikipedia's Qt page, you can see the past release schedule. Notice that the time between versions usually ranges from 8 months to 1 year, which would suggest no earlier than November, and probably before next April, but that's just a guess....

The features of 4.6 are still not decided, that why there is not detail on Qt site and developer blogs. Since Qt is LGPL now so things are now more in public domain. My guess is that it will take atleast 8-12 months from now.

Have a look at http://www.linux-magazine.com/Online/News/Qt-Developer-Days-Previews-of-Qt-4.5-and-4.6. End of 2009 was the answer.

It is very old news even before release for v4.5, a lot of things have been changed since.
