Recommendation needed for dynamic CMS / portal site system.

Question

Hi, does someone know a script or product to create such a portal site like this: http://www.qkport.com/ This is actually a demo site of biznetic.com, but it seems like they don´t sell it anymore.

DotNetNuke and CommunityServer are both worth looking at. DNN is free/open source, CS is not.

Joomla and Drupal are two popular and widely supported Open Source PHP CMS systems. Both have large, active communities and a healthy ecosystem of modules and plugins.

I can recommend drupal. I've been using xoops for years, and am converting now. The number of drupal plugins for interfacing with ecommerce sites like osCommerce, and myriad payment gateways make it a gem for building basic CMS sites that you can grow to full-fledged ecommerce engines.

http://linksgrid.com is an MVC implementation that has http://www.qkport.com/ functionality. you can find the code at http://code.google.com/p/linksgrid
