Apart from one hint on the following site: http://groups.google.com/group/jquery-dev/browse_thread/thread/13df4a99e372e223/ba7f6d54fd059b77?lnk=gst&q=1.3.3#ba7f6d54fd059b77 i've not been able to find anywhere that hints at a possible release date or timescale for jQuery 1.3.3./1.4

Does anyone know any more than this?

After further investigation it appears it will be this month....more

"Yep, .live() blur/focus support is still slated for jQuery 1.3.3 (due this month). "

looks like we are going for 1.4 http://blog.jquery.com/2009/12/04/jquery-14-alpha-1-released/

This thread says it was announced at the jQuery conference (September 13th) that it will be released in approximately two weeks, which would be sometime after September 27th.

Of course, it depends entirely on whether all the features will be ready in time, but it's definitely a hint.

It's out now!

Another update: jQuery 1.4 has its own website now: http://jquery14.com/

Starting from the 14th January, and lasting for 14 days, they'll be making daily "releases": code, videos, tutorials, etc.
