I recently completed my MCPD Web Developer (.Net 3.5, C#) track and I found the PD exam to be much easier than the TS level exams.

I used the Microsoft Kits and added some bits and pieces from google, msdn, here etc on areas where I felt I was weaker.

I had done the MCSD exams so had some prior experience of the exams to draw upon, and I've been working in this area for almost 10 years.

You should also use some short of practice tests. See "has anyone get experience of both measureup and transcender practice tests" for a review of some of the practice tests on offer.
