Hi All,
I need to point a tech team in the right direction to investigate a very short term interim solutiuon for an online XML authoring database.
- The idea would be to set up something which does not require us to commission a server
- Multiple users need to interact with any of the database records remotely from multiple locations
- A single database is accessed by all (not a local copy for each individual)
- A bonus would be access controls to lock certain individuals out
- No problem with an executable to launch from each users' local PC
- Windows compatible
- Tight set up time of 2 weeks from now!
I have done some research and Firebird looks good for this. Am I barking up the right tree here?
