Opera 10 extra space

I have a page layout which is set to the height of the viewport using dijit.getViewport, works fine in IE, FF and Safari, but in Opera 10 I get around 20px of space at the top of the page which creates a vertical scrollbar. Has anyone experienced this or have a workaround? I can show the code if needed. I have set margin and padding to 0 for all elements at the start of my stylesheet.
