THE PROBLEM:

Hello, everyone. I am running into a problem with targeting pages into iframes. I am self-taught in what little HTML I know (as you will probably be able to see for yourselves.)

Problem #1:

My main TEXT menu that runs across the bottom works fine when I'm on the index.html page, but it doesn't work from the forum-frame.html page. The goal is to get these text links ON the forum-frame.html page to shoot into the frame on the index.html page, but that means something has to happen to switch to the index.html page.... ?

Problem #2:

My FLAG menu is intended to shoot pages into the big wide forum-frame.html. It works from the forum-frame.html page, but it doesn't work from the index.html page. The goal is to get the FLAG links ON the index.html page to shoot into the big wide FORUM-FRAME.html page, but again, that seems to mean something has to happen to switch to the FORUM-FRAME.html page.... ????

Or, maybe I've structured the site wrong to begin with?

Q.: how do I make my flag menu not only target the FORUM-FRAME.html page from the INDEX.HTML page?

Q.: how do I make by text menu target the INDEX.HTML page from the FORUM-FRAME.html page?

Thanks for your time if you have any insight into this mystery.

ALTERNATIVE: if anybody knows of a FREE NARROW forum that fits into my narrower iframe, I will change forums, and ditch the flags as a compromise. Thanks!
