Can you recommend PM/PPM management software that scales well?

When I deal with a single project Redmine does it job perfectly (well, almost), but when I have dozens of projects on my hands it becomes quite difficult to allocate resources and do some future planning.

I'm looking for some system that treats project not as a highest level of hierarchy but as a part of something bigger. Especially I need resource management features - I want to have some kind of calendar\schedule to track people workload.

I saw a couple of related questions on SO regarding PM software and I would really appreciate if you can recommend something described above basing on your own experience.

Microsoft Office Project Server is a server based solution, built on Windows SharePoint services. The new version (Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management) has a new interface and can be used via a client (MS Office Project) or via the web.

did you try it in practice? how many projects in parallel did you track with MSPS ?

I used it a lot (version 2003) in the last 4 years. We use it to track about 30 - 70 projects in parallel, with about 300 developers. From time to time, we have problems with the project effort data (in some scenarios that can be reproduced, the reported effort is scrambled, duplicated, etc.). MS PS has some problems, but the flaws are still acceptable in our environment.

I am using Proofhub now-a-days and I personally feel it is the one which I am searching. Now I can handle my projects completely with less complication. I think you just see it once and then you really understand what I want to say click here.
