Draw Cycle Overlay on google map

So,

I'm on my quest on learning Google Map API. Right now, I want to draw a circular overlay on top of a particular point on map. I'm a little bit overwhelmed reading how google map API overlay algorithm work.

Someone have the snippet? some rough algorithm is fine for me.
