Extract MSI from EXE

Dear all

I want to extract MSI of an EXE setup to publish over network!!!!

There is some ways. for example using universal extractor......

but doesn't work for JAVA Run-time environment....

Is there any idea?

7-Zip should do the trick.

With it, you can extract all the files inside the EXE (thus, also an MSI file).

Do you want to do this one time, or each time Setup runs? The solution may differ, depending. If you want to do this one time then I assume you dont have the installer sources to the project, true?

Starting with parameter setup.exe /A asks for saving included files (including msi).

This may depend on the software which created the setup.exe
