Hello,

I'm trying to create a mashup of a set list of tweets onto a Google Map. The code is in here. My problem is I don't know how to combine the user's location using the set.location function on their tweets (knowing that it's not going to be very fine grained, it just corresponds to what the user enters in their profile) onto a Google Map. Can anybody help?

Thanks for your time, Tony

I understand globally what you are attempting to do, but I'm not sure I understand your exact question...

  • If you are trying to get more of a fine-tuned location than what a user has in their profile, I'm pretty sure you are out of luck.

  • What Language and Library are you doing this with? I assume JavaScript? According to twitter's dev wiki there is only one JavaScript Library out there so I'd look at that first...TwitterHelper

  • If you are wondering just how to take their location and put it on a Google Map, just get their location from their profile, and implement that location variable into another JavaScript that sets up and creates a Google Map using the GMap's API. It's Javascript as well, so it should be fairly straightforward.
