Migrating existing ASP.NET applications to Sharepoint Server 2007

I have some existing ASP.NET applications that are connected to Oracle 10g DBs and the applications vary from simple forms to complicated work flows with hundreds to thousands of DB entries ( applications are developed using Visual Studio 2003 and 2005)

I would like to know the key pointers to consider when trying to migrate from this existing environment to Sharepoint 2007 ?
